When you're performing a Google Search, you can click on any underlined word in the blue "Searched the Web" bar to look up that word at www.dictionary.com.

Expecting a package? You can track its progress on Google by entering your FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service tracking number in the search field.

Enter your airline and flight number in Google to get the latest flight status. For instance, entering delta 301 returns the current status for Delta flight 301.

You can broaden your searches by instructiong Google to search for synonyms of words. To do so, include a ~ in front of words for which you want to include synonyms of. For instance, searching for ~travel will return results for travel, hotels, airfare, flights, etc.

The new Google Desktop Search enables you to use Google to search files, e-mail, and web pages stored on your own computer.

 

You can use Google to define words. For instance, the search term define googol will give the definition of the word from which the search engine derives its name.
