Preparing Your Peachtree Data for Repair

	If You Can Open Your Peachtree Company... In Peachtree, choose File, and then Back Up. Click the Back Up Now button, and then choose Desktop from the Save In field. This will place the .ptb file on your Windows desktop so that you can easily locate it for uploading. Click the Save button. Click OK when the prompt appears to advise you of the size of your back-up. Once the back-up is complete, navigate to our Peachtree Data Repair Area to upload your Peachtree back-up (.ptb file) for repair.
	If You Cannot Open Your Peachtree Company... Your Peachtree data is stored in a subfolder within your Peachtree program file, typically c:\peachw. The subfolder will typically called something that is an abbreviation of your company's name. For instance, the subfolder for Accounting Advisors, Inc. is accadvin. You can use a compression utility, such as WinZip to condense your company's subfolder into a .zip file, which you can then upload via our Peachtree Data Repair Area.
