If You're Using Peachtree 2004 or later...
-
Optional: If you can access your damaged Peachtree company, choose Maintain, and then Company Information. Change the Company Name to Damaged-My Company where My Company is your company name.
To Restore Your Repaired Company, Perform These Steps:
- In Peachtree, choose File, and then Restore.
- Click the Browse button to specify your .PTB file, which you'll have downloaded from our web site after paying for the repair. (Note: In some cases the back-up that you download will have a .ZIP extension, instead of a .PTB extension. In such cases, change the File Type to all Files to view this file. A .PTB file is actually a .ZIP file in disguise.)
- Click Next.
- Choose A New Company and then click Next.
- Ensure that Company Data is selected, and then click Next.
- Click Finish to restore your repaired company. Your original company will still remain intact, should you need to refer back to it.
